We've been planning for retirement and we've been looking at different places, online, YouTube videos, and we came across some YouTube videos done by RE/MAX, specifically Will.
He gave a contact and I decided to reach out and see, hey what's up i had been to belize on a girl's trip and when i left here i went home i told him i said we should look into belize that's the spot for us i was searching and thinking and she had tested the waters and liked it yes i looked at colombia i was thinking about panama looked at the dominican republic and i brought it back to my wife and she's like well i've been to belize and people speak a lot of English in Belize. I don't want to learn Spanish. So I'm like, okay. So it's Belize. You know what they say? Happy wife, happy life.
So once I looked at a couple of videos on YouTube, I reached out to the contact Will provided and Dylan responded within a 24-hour period. And since then, he has been amazing. Always accessible. He's had presentations, he's had Q&As with us, joined us, has answered most of my questions, virtually all of my questions. And since we've been here, he's answered all our questions. He has information on everything related to Belize. So that's your guy. And one more thing, he's been accommodating too, because we not only came by ourselves, we brought in friends and he made room for more people. So which is I appreciate that. Well, I'm strongly convinced that this is something I want to do.
My idea of my dream retirement Belize just fits into that perspective. So now I got to make it happen. We're looking forward to retire where we want to bring our kids for breaks and also for winter. So yes, Belize is the place to be. Land next to the water compared to the U.S., much, much cheaper and it's doable. Buying property is a huge investment. So I won't tell anybody to come down and buy. I just say, come down, hang out with Dylan. Get all your questions answered. Get whether it's immigration, whether it's financing, whether it's location, advantages, disadvantages, he's got it all. Just get with him and he'll simplify it for you.
