Where Belize's hospitality inventory sits
Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker carry most of the island and beachfront inventory, from beach cabanas to boutique hotels near San Pedro and Secret Beach. Placencia and Hopkins on the southern coast offer beachfront resorts and marina-side properties. Inland, the Cayo District around San Ignacio is known for jungle lodges on acreage, and the Corozal coast in the north has smaller bayfront hotels.
Each market draws a different guest and has different access, staffing and supply logistics. Compare location against how guests actually arrive: flights into Belize City, domestic flights or water taxis to the cayes, and road access to the mainland coast and Cayo.
