The McDonald family's Belize story began when their daughter introduced them to Ambergris Caye. After visiting the island and falling in love with the lifestyle, they took their first step by investing in a boutique bed and breakfast in San Pedro in 2022. As they spent more time in Belize, they saw the long-term potential of Mahogany Bay and purchased a Phase 1 homesite. Ultimately, an opportunity to acquire the Black Orchid home allowed them to skip the construction process and begin enjoying ownership immediately.
