“Don't wait. We waited a year, and by the time we came back, the ideal locations were gone.”

— Kim

What started as a spontaneous trip to Belize quickly turned into something much bigger for Kim and Reggie Eadie. After hearing friends talk about Belize, they decided to visit for themselves and immediately saw the potential. Their son Dylan saw it too—so much so that less than a year later he moved to Belize and joined the RE/MAX Belize team. As both clients and proud parents, Kim and Reggie experienced firsthand the level of service Dylan provides. They say he treats every client like family, providing the same attention, professionalism, and dedication regardless of who he's working with. Since their first visit, they've invested in multiple properties and continue to explore new opportunities throughout Belize. Their advice for prospective buyers is simple: don't wait. They learned firsthand that great opportunities can disappear quickly, and they believe Belize continues to offer tremendous potential for those willing to take the leap.

I'm [Unclear at 00:00]. My name is [Unclear at 00:00], husband. Are you nervous? Yes. She doesn't even talk that fast. I mean, if I remember correctly, Kim, it started because college roommate, best buddy, D-Dow, we were talking on the phone, they live in Atlanta, and they were saying, hey, we're going to Belize. Now, everybody's heard of Belize. No one had been. And so after we hung up the conversation, I whispered in my wife's ear, to Belize and not even tell them that we're coming. Let's just crash it. So we crashed it. And while we were planning, literally buying our plane tickets, we got a call from our son Dylan. The two of us, Dylan and his girlfriend, wife now, they hijacked as well.

So the four of us came. Dylan and I wanted to look at some property to see if there was investment opportunity. He was in home building in the U.S. We loved it. Our friends talked us out of investing here. that they didn't see. Eight months later, our son lived here and joined an amazing team at RE/MAX. How has it been with Dylan being our agent? Well, listen, I'll tell you, he gave us zero benefits. He treated us as if we were just his parents. Good or bad, that's the way. And we know this because we've seen him with other clients and he rolls out the red carpet for them Would you agree? I agree. So from that perspective, he's the son that we've always known. He's amazing.

You want to deal with Dylan. And you don't want to be his parents. You just want to be a client. When he's going to treat you like family, that's for sure. That's for sure. That's for sure. Yeah, for someone who's considering San Pedro, whether it's Mahogany Bay, Red Rock, or Secret Beach, I think the immediate advice I'd have is don't wait. We waited a year because what we did was we thought that we would look at Tulum and come back to this at some later date. And by the time we came back a year later, I mean, the ideal locations were gone.

So we had to talk a gentleman by the name of Alan into selling those two lots that I spoke of earlier in order for myself and my buddy to get, you know, side by side lots. We've got a couple lots at Secret. We've got this lot that I spoke of here at Mahogany and we haven't even seen Red Rock yet. We have not. We're looking forward to it though. We're looking forward to it. We hope to visit it, this trip. Hurry up. That's all I have to say. And use Dylan because Dylan's your guy. He is the guy.
